He Held Down His Girlfriend and Forced Her to Take Abortion Pills. Why Hasn’t He Been Charged?

A doctor at the University of Toledo Medical Center has been suspended from practicing medicine in Ohio. 

The man allegedly used the personal information of his estranged wife to order abortion pills by mail. Reports claim that he then forcibly held down his pregnant girlfriend and forced her to consume the crushed-up abortion pills against her will.

The State Medical Board of Ohio suspended the medical license of Dr. Hassan-James Abbas, finding him to be a danger to the public.

At this time there have been no criminal charges filed against him according to all available reports, and we do not know if the woman’s baby survived the assault.

According to the medical board, he admitted to obtaining the dangerous chemical abortion drug through an out-of-state provider using his wife’s personal information without her knowledge.  Though he reportedly pressured her, his girlfriend did not want an abortion.

If the allegations are indeed true, this man not only violently assaulted his girlfriend, but he attempted to murder her young child. A medical suspension is hardly the appropriate punishment for such a barbaric act. Where is the justice?

Cases like this are becoming more and more prevalent as chemical abortion drugs are mailed out to all who want them with little meaningful oversight.

These drugs enable abusers and sex traffickers and can be ordered by anyone in any state regardless of a location’s pro-life protections. Our mail system has been weaponized as a vessel to assist in the killing of thousands of innocent babies.

We all know that if a man were to kill his girlfriend’s young toddler because he no longer wanted her to be a mother, he would rightfully be charged with murder.

We know that if a doctor intentionally poisoned or dismembered a born child at the request of her mother, the doctor and those involved would be charged with murder.

We know that when innocent human beings are intentionally and wrongfully killed, there must be justice.

Unfortunately, our legal system is littered with obvious instances of unacceptable hypocrisy. If a criminal kills a pregnant mother, we know that in most states the unborn baby will be treated as a second victim, and the killer will face criminal prosecution for both killings.

Yet, when it comes to the intentional killing of innocent children in the womb in the form of abortion, there is rarely any justice for the unborn baby.

Why would the baby be considered a human being protected by law when killed by a criminal, but not when killed by an abortionist or anyone else?

A serious nation cannot have two sets of laws with blatant and lethal discrimination against certain groups of people. The unborn deserve to be treated as human beings just like everyone else. They deserve justice.
