Scouting America — formerly known as Boy Scouts — has become a woke program pushing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), homosexuality, and transgenderism. Consequently, hundreds of thousands of families have fled Scouts for God-centered alternatives, like Trail Life USA.
Boys need to understand true biblical masculinity while experiencing God’s creation in the great outdoors, explains Trail Life USA CEO Mark Hancock to The New American’s Alex Newman on Conversations That Matter. And Scouting USA and Girl Scouts no longer provide what children need. Indeed, boys are struggling, as the CDC reports 20 percent of students are considering suicide, as depression and hopelessness soar.
Boys “are particularly paying a price in a culture that really discounts being a man,” Hancock observed. Chronically being online is contributing to the crisis, he added, encouraging families to consider Trail Life USA as a patriotic, Christian alternative to Scouting America — a message Secretary of War Pete Hegseth echoes.
