Speaking on Fox & Friends Tuesday, after calls with Vladimir Putin and a day of meetings with Volodymyr Zelensky and European leaders, President Trump said his goal is to save lives in war-torn Ukraine — and one day stand before the pearly gates because of it.
“If I can save 7,000 people a week from being killed, I think that’s pretty [good],” Trump said, adding:
“I want to try and get to heaven if possible. I hear I’m not doing well. I hear I’m really at the bottom of the totem pole,” he quipped.
“If I can get to heaven, this will be one of the reasons.”
