Cellphone footage from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent who shot and killed a deranged motorist in Minneapolis on Wednesday clearly shows that the driver attempted to murder him.
For days, leftists and hysterical Democrats have falsely accused the agent of murder, despite less-clear footage that shows the woman’s attempt to mow down the agent.
But now, that defamatory narrative is dead. The footage shows the moment the woman looked at him and accelerated, knowing she would hit him.
The Attack, the Fake News
Trouble began in the blue city after ICE deployed 2,000 agents after recent reports that Somali fraudsters were running phony day care centers. That scam was piled atop others involving welfare subsidies. Somalis robbed the Small Business Administration as well. A federal prosecutor said the Somalis were involved in “industrial-scale” fraud.
ICE was there for a “targeted enforcement,” DHS reported, which crackpot leftists believe they are entitled to disrupt. Renee Good, the lesbian mother of three who was killed, apparently believed the same thing.
Bystanders recorded the attempted murder at 10:45 a.m. from several angles. Those early videos show an ICE agent approaching the driver-side door of Good’s Honda Pilot and attempting to open it, as another stepped in front of it. Trying to escape an apparent arrest, the woman accelerated toward the agent. He shot her three times and killed her.
When DHS claimed self-defense, Mayor Jacob Frey called that claim “bulls**t.” Outgoing far-left Governor Tim Walz called it propaganda on X, then proved that he really might be “seriously retarded,” as President Trump said.
Twice he claimed he was “at war” with the federal government, and said he would use the National Guard to fight “rogue” ICE agents.
Nationwide, Democrats repeatedly called the shooting a “murder” and a “cold-blooded” killing.
Representative Daniel Goldman (D-N.Y.), who called for President Trump to be “eliminated,” explained his legal theory at length:
[ICE is] invading our cities, using excessive force lawlessly with new agents without proper training.
And sadly, this was not unexpected. But it is egregious. It was an outright murder, and the fact that the administration is trying to defend the ICE officer when everyone can see with their own eyes that that car was trying to get away, because it still turned away from the officer after she was shot in the head. So the fact that they are arguing that somehow this is domestic terrorism, much less of an attack on ICE is preposterous. This officer not only needs to be fired and suspended, but based on the video, he needs to be charged with murder.
New Video
While early video exonerated the ICE agent, whom the Minnesota Star Tribune identified from court records, his cellphone footage is even more clear.
Obtained by Alpha News, the video shows the agent emerge from his vehicle and approach the passenger side of Good’s SUV and walk around the front. Good appears to say “come and talk to me.”
“That’s fine, dude,” she says. “I’m not mad at you.”
A woman whom the New York Post identified as Good’s “wife,” Rebecca, confronts him: “Show your face,” she says as the agent circles the SUV. “You wanna come at us?” she asks. “You wanna come at us? I say go get yourself some lunch, big boy. Go ahead.”
As “wife” Rebecca attempts to get into the SUV on the passenger side, another agent approaches Good on the driver side. As he nears the door, he says:
Get out of the car, get out of the car! Get out of the f***in’ car! Get out of the car!
“Wife” Rebecca holds the handle on the passenger-side door as Good jams the car into reverse. Then Good accelerates with a determined look on her face.
“Oh,” the agent yells as the SUV hits him. He fires three times. Good smashes into a telephone pole.
Upshot: Good disobeyed a lawful order from a federal agent to get out of her car, and instead attempted to flee, hitting the ICE agent who shot her.
100 Vehicle Attacks
The video will not, of course, end the false claims that the agent — who landed in the hospital after an illegal alien, pulled over by ICE, dragged him down the street — “murdered” the woman.
But it does reinforce what DHS reported in November. Since January 2025, leftists have attacked ICE and other federal agents almost 100 times.
“There have been 71 vehicular attacks against [Customs and Border Protection] since January 20, compared to 45 vehicle assaults during the same period in 2024 — a 58% increase,” DHS reported:
There have been 28 vehicular attacks against ICE since January 20, compared to just 2 such incidents in the same period of 2024 — a 1,300% increase.
Examples:
• On November 13, DHS reported, Salvadoran goon Ever Gabriel Alvarez-Campos “rammed his car into an ICE vehicle and fled the scene, endangering officers and members of the Adelphi, Maryland community. Alvarez then hit another vehicle and fled the scene on foot before being apprehended by ICE officers.”
• In October, as The New American reported, two motorists attacked Border Patrol agents in Chicago. An agent shot one of them five times when she tried to mow him down in her vehicle, authorities allege.
