White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt is scheduled to hold a press briefing at 2 p.m. Thursday, hours after President Donald Trump addressed the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington.
Leavitt’s briefing follows Trump’s remarks earlier Thursday at the Washington Hilton, where he spoke about faith and the Minnesota church disruption that led to federal charges against several defendants, including former CNN anchor Don Lemon.
Leavitt also teased on social media that Trump will make an evening announcement to unveil TrumpRx at 7 p.m., alongside Dr. Mehmet Oz, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services administrator, and Joe Gebbia, director of the National Design Studio.
According to Reuters and the Associated Press, TrumpRx is expected to be a government-hosted platform aimed at helping Americans access discounted prescription drugs—though the administration has not provided full details on how savings will work for consumers.
