It took just two hours for a Seminole County, Florida, jury to convict Donovan Faison of first-degree murder in the 2022 death of Kaylin Fiengo, his eighteen-year-old pregnant girlfriend. The prosecution is seeking te death penalty. The sentencing phase begins Wednesday.
Fiengo also had a 1-year-old son named Ace.
According to Allie Griffin of the New York Post
Fiengo had driven to Coastline Park on the night of Nov. 11[2022] to meet up with Faison, according to cops.
The same night — after 11 p.m. — she was found dead with a gunshot wound in the driver’s seat of her parked car.

Faison, 21, was arrested nearly 10 months after Fiengo was found shot to death at a park in Sanford, Florida.
At the time of Faison’s arrest, Sanford Police Chief Cecil Smith said in a statement
“Today’s events come after a long, almost ten months, of an exhaustive investigation…Our investigators have made sure every possible shred of evidence was processed and analyzed in order to bring Kaylin’s killer to justice.”
“What she did was brave,” a family member said at the conclusion of the trial. “She chose her child at the end of the day.”
Fiengo’s tender obituary included
“Though Kaylin faced [many] challenges that set her apart from her peers in many ways, she made friends everywhere she went. Kaylin loved spending time with her son, siblings, and friends. Kaylin really was a fun-loving child and had an old soul.”
