New $10 Million Taxpayer-Funded Abortion Biz is Opening in New Mexico

Jessica and her team at the Southwest Coalition for Life have led numerous 40 Days for Life campaigns that resulted in multiple CLOSED abortion facilities over the years.

Right now, they’re trying to close one before it even opens.

One of the four Borderland 40 Days for Life campaigns is located in front of an under-construction $10 million taxpayer-funded abortion and transgender center in Las Cruces, New Mexico. God answered pro-life prayers by throwing a monkey wrench into the building plans.

“Construction was stalled when local contractors pulled out of the job,” Jessica said. “We have since learned that a contractor…has recently begun construction.”

So she and her team are stepping up their prayers.

“This update is not the news we were hoping for, but it is not a reason for despair,” Jessica exhorted her volunteers. “It is a call to deeper faith.”

This new abortion facility might need the taxpayer funding, because it’s unclear whether there’s a market for another abortion facility.

Even though New Mexico is an “abortion sanctuary” state, it has seen a decrease in abortion numbers.

“God willing, our faithful presence will speak to the construction workers,” Jessica continued. “It will speak to the project managers. It will speak to business leaders and decision makers. Not with condemnation, but with conviction.”

Glendora, California

Sarah is leading her first 40 Days for Life campaign in Glendora.

Her vigil participants recently received a special visitor with some exciting news.

“My boyfriend wanted me to have an abortion, but I wanted to keep the baby,” a woman told prayer warriors. “Would you like to see her?”

Sarah said the mother went to her car and came back with a beautiful little girl with chubby cheeks!

The vigil is growing in enthusiasm–and in numbers. “The Glendora campaign had our biggest group this past Friday night!” Sarah noted.

Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada

Angela and her 40 Days for Life team on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls pray in front of a hospital.

It’s more difficult to confirm when babies are saved from abortion at a hospital vigil–but Angela and her team know they are making an impact.

“On three occasions, we had folks coming out of the hospital asking us for intercessory prayers for their loved ones facing serious health conditions,” she reported. “We were happy to say ‘Yes, we will pray for your intentions!’”

Prayer warriors’ perseverance in the cold shows these families that 40 Days for Life volunteers won’t quit interceding for their intentions–or for the unborn.

“Despite frigid temperatures and a biting wind, supporters of life showed up to pray for God’s blessing upon our campaign!” Angela said.
