Planned Parenthood Will be Defunded, Lose $800 Million of Our Tax Dollars

As we continue to mourn the loss of our dear friend Charlie Kirk and also remember the precious lives lost on September 11th, 2001, I wanted to share some GOOD news with you today.

Today, the First Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Health and Human Services can move forward with cutting off Medicaid funding to Planned Parenthood while the case continues in court.

This is a major step forward in the fight to protect preborn children.

Planned Parenthood is the largest abortion chain in America. Last year alone, they received about $800 million in federal and state money, mostly through Medicaid reimbursements, and they committed more than 400,000 abortions. That is roughly one out of every three abortions in our nation.

Planned Parenthood also runs nearly 600 facilities in 31 states where they do not just end preborn lives but also push dangerous puberty blockers and cross sex hormones, even to minors as young as 16.

Taxpayers should never be forced to fund an organization that profits from killing innocent children. This ruling is a victory for life and justice. It means that, starting now, Medicaid dollars will no longer flow to Planned Parenthood.

But this is not the end. We must keep fighting until Planned Parenthood is fully and permanently defunded and every child is protected under law. Live Action will not stop until that day comes.
