It’s no secret that Planned Parenthood is in bad shape nationally.
The abortion giant has been defunded. Private donations are down. And dozens of its facilities have closed in 2025 alone.
Corporate leadership isn’t rising to the moment, as leaders get distracted by every “woke” sideshow that comes along…
…and Planned Parenthood’s local affiliates aren’t doing much better. On this week’s episode of The 40 Days for Life Podcast, we look at the annual report of an ordinary Midwestern Planned Parenthood affiliate. What we found was mind-boggling:

Check it out as we uncover:
- Planned Parenthood’s bizarre after-school teen sex “health” club;
- The statistic that destroys Planned Parenthood’s claim that abortion is only three percent of its services;
- A shocking number of “gender-affirming” services;
- Astonishingly weak grassroots activism that shows how abortion just isn’t a political winner any more;
- Much more.
Tyler, Texas

Hundreds of 40 Days for Life participants gathered in my hometown of Tyler, Texas, to celebrate the closure of the local Planned Parenthood.
But Lars, the local campaign leader, said there’s more to be done. “Our pro-life work is not complete until we eliminate abortion forever.”
Lars and his team are exploring new locations for their next vigil in 2026. “We need to continue daily prayers, fasting, and community outreach to protect those most vulnerable and without a voice: the unborn,” he said.
Fullerton, Maryland

Vigil participants just outside Baltimore were greeted by a man who pulled his vehicle up to the vigil to say “thank you.”
But there was a caveat. “He agrees with us about abortion except that he feels it is OK in the case of rape,” explained Maria, the campaign co-leader. “He knows several women…who were raped.”
The encounter provided an opportunity for outreach and discussion, as Maria provided the man with information on pregnancy help resources and post-abortion healing, as well as a prayer devotional.
“He was very appreciative,” Maria noted.
