President Trump will deliver the first State of the Union address of his second term Tuesday night, outlining an ambitious agenda that includes both early wins and setbacks.
Trump has already previewed a lengthy address, telling reporters the speech will cover the economy and ongoing talks with Iran. He also teased a potential tax cut.
A White House official confirmed that Trump is expected to unveil “rate payer protection pledges,” a proposal that would require companies to absorb increased electricity costs in regions where new data centers are built.
The address is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. EST.
