‘President Trump Exactly Right’ to Go for Greenland — ‘Vitally Important’ for National Security [WATCH]

Cruz is with Trump — let’s go get Greenland.

During Tuesday night’s Hannity, Texas Senator Ted Cruz threw his support behind the President, saying he is “exactly right” to push to acquire Greenland for national security purposes.

“President Trump is exactly right that it is overwhelmingly in the national security interest and economic interest to acquire Greenland. Economically, they have vast rare earth minerals and critical minerals there that are incredibly important to our economy and national defense. And from a national security standpoint, Greenland’s location in the Arctic is vitally important, especially with both China and Russia becoming more active and aggressive in the Arctic,” Cruz told Hannity.

“The question is how this is going to happen, and I think the answer is that it is going to happen through a voluntarily negotiated acquisition. The media acts like there is something bizarre and unusual about the notion of acquiring territory. If you go back to Thomas Jefferson, he signed the Louisiana Purchase, acquiring about half of what is today the United States,” Cruz added.

Cruz says the move is in the interest of America and Greenland; “there’s a win-win here.”

Trump is in Davos this week, further negotiating the acquisition of our north eastern neighbor.
