The Ukrainian government led by corrupt dictator Volodymyr Zelensky planned to send hundreds of millions of dollars of U.S. aid to the regime back to the United States to help reelect President Joe Biden in 2024.
The scandal might surpass that of the Biden-Burisma influence-peddling scheme, as well as the Biden-China connection, which permitted China to penetrate Barack Obama’s White House.
The kickback to Democrats from Ukraine is described in a declassified intelligence report, details of which were reported by Just the News.
Gabbard Only Recently Learned of Intercepts
The website reported that “U.S. intelligence intercepted Ukrainian government communications discussing a plot to route hundreds of millions of American tax dollars earmarked for clean energy in the war-torn country and move them to the United States to enrich then-President Joe Biden’s 2024 re-election campaign and the Democratic National Committee [DNC].”
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard only recently learned of the nefarious plot, and “has asked … U.S. Agency for International Development [USAID] officials to scour for records to see if the plot actually was carried out and whether a criminal referral should be made to the FBI,” Just the News explained:
Gabbard’s team has not found substantive evidence the intercepted allegations were thoroughly investigated during the Biden administration, and the communications are not believed to be tied to Russian disinformation efforts, officials said.
The declassified report is a summary of raw intercepts from U.S. spy agencies in late 2022 concerning the alleged plot, and officials who have reviewed the files said there seemed to be a lack of curiosity to investigate such an explosive allegation of foreign interference in a U.S. election.
Indeed, the only thing the Biden administration was curious about was how many fruits and nuts it could pack into the federal government.
According to the summary of U.S. intelligence intercepts, “The Ukrainian Government and unspecified U.S. Government personnel, through USAID in Kyiv, reportedly developed a plan that would provide hundreds of millions of US taxpayer dollars to fund an infrastructure project for Ukraine that would be used as a cover to send approximately 90% of funds allocated to the DNC to fund Joe Biden’s reelection campaign.”
Added the report:
They were confident the project would be funded initially, even though at some time in the future the project would be disapproved as unnecessary. At this time, the money would already be allocated and impossible to return or use for a different purpose.
Two American subcontractors, Just the News continued, would receive the money and funnel it to the Democrats. Those names are redacted from the intelligence summary.
The summary also said the scheme to funnel the ill-gotten booty through subcontractors “would be difficult to track,” and “contracts would be executed that would be difficult to verify. In this manner, most of the U.S. funding would be diverted to Joe Biden’s election campaign without the ability to track where exactly the funds came from.”
Ukraine Corrupt to the Core
The website noted that Zelensky’s administration is “dogged by new allegations of corruption.” They involved Andriy Yermark, formerly “Head of the Office of the President,”
[who] resigned from his position in late November following searches of his home by two Ukrainian agencies — the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP). …
The two Ukrainian agencies had announced earlier in November that a “high-level criminal organization operating in [the] energy sector” had been “exposed” as part of “Operation Midas.”
The nation’s energy sector does have its problems. They go back to Biden-Burisma, which involved then-Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter. The notorious drug addict somehow landed on the board of Burisma Holdings, despite having zero experience in the energy business, not counting the energy he received from smoking crack and cavorting with hookers.
The website continued:
Sources close to Zelenskyy have floated the idea of assisting the Trump DOJ in its investigation of earlier efforts by a Ukrainian oligarch named Mykola Zlochevsky to curry favor with the Biden family by hiring Hunter Biden as a board member and legal advisor at the Burisma Holdings energy company beginning in 2014, officials told Just the News.
The assistance offered by Zelenskyy reportedly included arranging cooperation with certain Ukrainian witnesses who could assist U.S. authorities in resolving unanswered questions regarding the Biden family’s foreign corruption dealings.
Though President Joe Biden swore he knew nothing of his son’s activities and that he wouldn’t pardon him, he did just that before he left office. The pardon goes back to December 2014, about the time Hunter was wheeling and dealing in Ukraine and elsewhere around the globe.
The website reprises a few lines from a report by GOP U.S. Senators Charles Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin:
“On April 16, 2014, Vice President Biden met with his son’s business partner, Devon Archer, at the White House. Five days later, Vice President Biden visited Ukraine, and he soon after was described in the press as the ‘public face of the administration’s handling of Ukraine.’ The day after his visit, on April 22, Archer joined the board of Burisma,” Grassley and Johnson wrote. “Six days later, on April 28, British officials seized $23 million from the London bank accounts of Burisma’s owner, Mykola Zlochevsky. Fourteen days later, on May 12, Hunter Biden joined the board of Burisma, and over the course of the next several years, Hunter Biden and Devon Archer were paid millions of dollars from a corrupt Ukrainian oligarch for their participation on the board.”
In 2016, as then-Vice President Biden admitted during a speech to the Council on Foreign Relations, he forced Ukraine to fire a prosecutor who was investigating Burisma. If he wasn’t fired, Biden threatened, the country would lose $1 billion in U.S. loan guarantees.
“I looked at them and said, ‘I’m leaving in six hours. If the prosecutor is not fired, you’re not getting the money,’” he said:
Well, son of a b**ch. He got fired. And they put in place someone who was solid at the time.
USAID: A Pot of Money for Leftists
USAID’s involvement in the Ukraine-aid kickback scheme would be no surprise.
As The New American reported last year, the outfit is, as Elon Musk averred, “a criminal organization.” It was robbing the taxpayers blind for such schemes as $15 million for condoms for the Taliban, $3.3 million for “being LGBTQ in the Caribbean,” $2.5 million for electric-vehicle charging stations in Vietnam, $1.5 million to promote jobs for sex perverts in Serbia, and more than $425,000 for Indonesian coffee companies to “become more climate- and gender-friendly.”
It also funneled more than $1 billion to Reuters, Politico, and The New York Times.
