Savannah Craven Still Fighting for Justice After Abortion Activist Assaulted Her

In our battle for justice for pro-life journalist Savannah Craven Antao—who was brutally assaulted on a New York sidewalk for her pro-life views—we have both good news and shocking news for you.

After carefully reviewing New York criminal procedure law and consulting with our legal team, we discovered something crucial: Despite Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s failure to prosecute the misdemeanor charges, felony charges could have still been filed against Savannah’s attacker, Brianna Rivers.

Bragg’s rookie prosecutor may have missed the deadline on the misdemeanor, but the door to justice was still wide open for felony prosecution.

We immediately drafted a detailed legal letter and formally demanded that DA Bragg’s office refile felony assault and hate crime charges.

Why a hate crime? Because Brianna Rivers attacked Savannah specifically because of her faith-based pro-life beliefs. That’s not just assault—it’s a hate crime under New York law.

After we blew the lid off this story, making national headlines, Bragg’s office did something shocking.

They issued a public apology to Savannah, admitting they had made an “unacceptable error” in mishandling the case.

Finally, we thought justice would be served… But then came Bragg’s dismissive response to our legal letter.

On October 8th, his office sent us a reply saying: “We have carefully reviewed the research you presented but have concluded that continued prosecution is not possible in these circumstances.”

That’s it. No explanation, no legal reasoning, and absolutely zero justification for rejecting our analysis.

Then they had the audacity to write: “I hope that engaging with our Survivor Services Bureau can help Ms. Craven Antao find some closure in this process, which we recognize the criminal prosecution failed to give her.”

Steven, let me be crystal clear about what that means.

DA Bragg’s office admitted they failed Savannah. They apologized for their “unacceptable error.” They acknowledged our legal research. But they still refused to do anything about it!

They just decided—without justification—that they won’t prosecute the attacker of a peaceful pro-life advocate, sweeping violence under the rug and hoping the nation won’t notice.

But does anyone doubt the result would have been different if the roles were reversed? If, say, Savannah had punched a pro-abortion advocate on camera, do you think Bragg would have found a way to prosecute?

We know the answer. But we’re not giving up on Savannah. Since Bragg refuses to do his job, we’re taking a different path:

  • We’re preparing a comprehensive civil lawsuit against Brianna Rivers.
  • We’ll make sure that Rivers pays up for Savannah’s medical expenses and trauma, as well as secure punitive damages.
  • We’ll send a clear message that the pro-life movement won’t stand for political violence, ever.

Alvin Bragg’s office did not do its job. But we will do our job.
