Senator Kennedy Absolutely SHREDS the Department of Interior for Owl Murder Plot [WATCH]

Yes —it’s as crazy as it sounds.

Louisiana firebrand Sen. John Kennedy let loose Tuesday, blasting the Department of the Interior for playing mad scientist by planning to massacre hundreds of thousands of owls in the name of diversity.

Kennedy vowed to introduce a resolution to block the agency’s scheme to kill roughly 453,000 North American Barred Owls — all to protect the spotted owl population. He even brought visual aids: a photo of Elmer Fudd and pictures of both birds.

“The Department of Interior is mad at the Barred Owl because the Barred Owl is a better hunter,” Kennedy said. “The Barred Owl is just a better hunter. That’s just the way it is … God just made the Barred Owl a better hunter. And the Department of Interior is all up in arms. They say this is threatening the Spotted Owl. Now the Spotted Owl isn’t on the endangered species list, but this isn’t fair. The Barred Owl is a better hunter than the Spotted Owl and that is causing the Spotted Owl’s population to decrease. Now the Department of Interior, in its infinite wisdom, has come up with DEI for owls. They’ve come up with quotas for owls.”

Kennedy argued the Barred Owl’s westward migration is simply nature adapting — not a crime. With eastern forests being cut down, he said, the species is just expanding its territory.

“We’re gonna change nature, we’re gonna control our environment to extent. We’re gonna pass DEI for owls. We’re gonna pass quotas for owls. Spotted Owls, good. Barred Owls, bad. But the Barred Owls won’t lose their constitutional rights, they’ll kill them. They’re gonna kill 453 of them, dead as Jimmy Hoffa. Give me a break,” Kennedy continued.

The senator warned the $1.35 billion plan is doomed to fail — saying the birds would simply repopulate the same regions once the killing stops.

Kennedy’s verdict? Bureaucrats can’t outsmart God — or nature.
