Budget negotiations in Albany are at fever pitch, and while our state’s leaders should be finalizing dollars and cents for necessary government expenditures on a budget that is already past due, some of them are instead finding ways to funnel even more of your tax dollars to abortion and enshrine a repudiation of your parental rights.
Among items included in the latest version of the state Senate’s proposed budget is the creation of a New York State abortion clinical training program which would train program participants in the killing of preborn babies through abortion, including after fifteen weeks of pregnancy.
This means more moms endangered and more babies killed.
Additionally, the state Senate’s proposed budget includes a provision that says that any person, regardless of age, can consent to an abortion for herself without needing to provide a reason.
This is dangerous for moms. It is deadly for babies. And it cruelly severs life’s most intimate relationships.
Please call your state Senator and your state Assemblymember now and tell him or her that using the state budget to endanger moms and kill babies is unacceptable!
