Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) went scorched-earth on the Supreme Court this week, dropping an explicit “f— you” over the justices’ move to keep Texas’ new congressional map in place.
In a video posted to her YouTube account Sunday, Crockett accused President Donald Trump and Republicans of trying to “rig the system” ahead of the 2026 midterms through redistricting.
“Obviously, Trump is still doing his bidding with these state Houses and state Senates and governors’ mansions to try to rig the system,” Crockett said. “Kudos to Indiana for saying f— you. Kudos to California for saying we’re going to fight back.”
Then she turned her fire straight at the Court. “Definitely kudos to the Trump justice who wrote the 160-page opinion denouncing what took place in Texas and f— you to the Supreme Court for what they did as well as, you know, we’ll see what happens in some other places.”
The Supreme Court’s December order keeps Gov. Greg Abbott’s redrawn districts in place heading into 2026—maps widely expected to net Republicans up to five additional House seats.
And the new lines scramble politics back home: reporting notes the maps move Crockett out of her current district, and she launched a Senate bid soon after the ruling.
