The art of the deal indeed. President Donald Trump has apparently settled yet another foreign conflict, this time the siege of Hamas-controlled Gaza in the wake of the hideous terror attack it conducted on Israel two years ago. The generous terms offered Gaza, guaranteed by Arab governments, seemed to strip Hamas of support from any but the most doggedly anti-Israel actors.
For all the worry on the part of Israel skeptics within the MAGA movement, the deal does not entail ethnic cleansing or landgrabs from Arabs. So much for Trump being the cats paw of the Israeli settlers movement.
How impressive is Trump’s achievement? The Washington Post, one of his fiercest and most unfair critics for most of a decade, is calling for Trump to win a peacemaking prize:

Time for President Trump to spike the ball in the end zone, and go back to a much more intractable and dangerous conflict — the pointless war in Ukraine, which regularly threatens to flare up into a nuclear confrontation between a Christian-friendly Russia and the increasingly anti-Christian NATO.
British Judge Punishes Native Protestors Over Foreign Attempted Rapist They Protested
How bad is Western Europe, how much worse than Putin’s Russia? Here’s a glimpse of an everyday occurrence in Britain, where a hostile government silences its own people as it replaces them with Muslim colonists, reported by Not The Bee:
Hadush Gerberslasie Kebatu from Ethiopia entered the UK by boat and made his way to the town of Epping, England. Once there, he decided that he wanted to have sex with all the teenage girls.
No, really, within a few days of arriving in England, he sexually assaulted multiple girls.
[According to The Independent] One of his victims “told police she ‘froze’ as the defendant sexually assaulted her and had told Kebatu, ‘No, I’m 14’ when he spotted her again in Epping the following day.”
The court heard his response to the teenager was: ‘No, no, it doesn’t matter, you could come back to the Bell Hotel with me.’”
Instead of being deported, or perhaps executed as a public example of what civilized countries do to foreigners who try to rape their children, Kebatu received a measly year in jail….
Meanwhile, a crowd of 500 locals protested outside the Bell Hotel, which is one of many across the country housing migrants on the British taxpayers’ dime, on July 17. These Englishmen, upset that their government was importing rapists from other countries into their community, had signs saying “protect our kids.” …
Stuart Williams is a painter and decorator who received two years and four months for “kicking out at an officer” and climbing onto the roof of a school as he made his way onto the hotel roof, where he “attempted to ring the bell thereon.”
Martin Peagram, a local roofer and young father of two, was given two years and two months for kicking a police officer and “throwing a can.”
Supermarket worker Dean Smith was also given one year and ten months for “punching an officer’s [riot] shield.”
Meanwhile dozens of Britons are arrested every day for social media posts critical of immigration.
This is “The West” that we are bound by the NATO treaty to fight a nuclear war to protect.
For Once, Ireland Does Something Right
The government of Ireland is energetically importing Third World immigrants at a breakneck pace, exceeding England’s percentage of alien, mostly non-Christian “refugees.” But at least in the area of free speech, the leadership in Dublin isn’t thundering down the same road to censorship. Gateway Pundit reports:
Ireland is holding the line for freedom against the European Union goons who wish to insert harmful legislation on every nation in the old continent.
The EU Court of Justice has warned Ireland that it has until August to comply with the ‘hate speech’ laws (a.k.a. censure).
Under existing EU rules on combating racism and xenophobia, the European Commission believes Ireland is allegedly uncompliant with laws ‘criminalizing race-based violence and hatred’.
That’s woke Newspeak for “patriotic dissent from mass immigration from primitive societies with alien values.”

Lawfare-Happy Letitia James Faces Serious Jail Time Herself
Remember the New York State Attorney General, who tried to bankrupt Donald Trump and dissolve the NRA? Now she might face Haman’s fate, and end up on her own gallows. NBC News reports that James
was indicted Thursday by a federal grand jury in Virginia.
James was charged with one count of bank fraud and one count of making false statements to a financial institution…. The indictment alleges James falsely claimed that a home in Norfolk, Virginia, was her second residence, allowing her to obtain favorable loan terms, and that she rented the property to a family of three.
James could face up to 30 years in prison and up to a $1 million fine on each count if she’s convicted.
NBC followed the bare-bones information above with paragraph after paragraph trying to prove that the charges against James are politically motivated — which it didn’t do when it reported on James bringing a civil suit against Trump.
You see, when the Left makes up cases and persecutes people, it’s “the process, functioning as intended.” When the Right prosecutes real crimes, it’s “the weaponization of the justice system.”
Pope Leo XIV Issues First Document, Which Calls for Open Borders and Wealth Redistribution
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. It came as no surprise to me that the cardinals appointed by quasi-Marxist Pope Francis elected another man in much the same mold — this time a product of the leftist church political machine in Chicago created by Saul Alinsky fan Cardinal Joseph Bernardin in the 1980s. While he is apparently more psychologically normal than Francis, Leo has signaled his priorities: open borders and globalism. Yahoo reports:
Pope Leo urged the world’s Catholics to help immigrants in his first major document, which was released on Thursday and invoked one of the late Pope Francis’ strongest criticisms of U.S. President Donald Trump‘s anti-immigration policies.
Leo’s document, known as an apostolic exhortation, is focused on the needs of the world’s poor. It calls for widespread changes to the global market system to address rising inequality and to help people living paycheck-to-paycheck.
Ah yes, the Vicar of Christ is doing exactly what Jesus did: Laying out to the Romans how they should alter their economic and security policies. Don’t you remember how much time Our Lord spent lecturing Pontius Pilate about that? “For this I came — that you might have economic equality and laxer immigration policies, and have them more abundantly.” (Spartacus 5: 7)
Dominion Systems Bought by a Republican — But Is This Just a Voter Fraud Cover-Up and Rebrand?
The Daily Caller reports what seems at first like good news:
Dominion Voting systems has been acquired by founder and chairman of Liberty Vote Scott Leiendecker, in a deal which included dropping lawsuits against conservatives.
Leiendecker, former GOP election reform advocate, has officially become the sole owner of Dominion after making the deal contingent on dropping several remaining lawsuits against prominent conservatives and One America News Network (OANN)….
Under its new leadership, Liberty Vote will move its operations entirely to the United States. The company says it is prioritizing election integrity by implementing third-party auditing standards, the same release added. “Liberty Vote signals a new chapter for American elections — one where trust is rebuilt from the ground up,” Leiendecker stated in the press release. “Liberty Vote is committed to delivering election technology that prioritizes paper-based transparency, security, and simplicity so that voters can be assured that every ballot is filled-in accurately and fairly counted.”
In addition, the company is prioritizing the use of hand-marked paper ballots to strengthen election security and compliance. This initiative aligns with President Donald Trump’s executive order titled, “Preserving And Protecting The Integrity Of American Elections,” which is designed to safeguard the electoral process and uphold federal standards.
That all sounds lovely. But the good people who wrecked their lives fighting lawsuits by Dominion and its corrupt associates are skeptical. Some say that this move is just a rebrand, which will leave in place or even extend the use of insecure, hackable election systems such as were used to steal the 2020 presidential race — and multiple congressional races in 2024.
David Clements, who lost his academic job fighting COVID mandates and was subject to lawfare aimed at stripping his license to practice law for fighting election fraud, made the film Let My People Go to demonstrate why no electronic voting system can ever be secure — especially one like Liberty Vote, which may well use software Dominion inherited from Venezuelan Marxists who wrote to steal elections in that country. Here’s Clements’ comment on the purchase of the company:
