The Brew: Whose Assassination Will the Democrats Trigger Next?

If you’re not following Revolver News, you’re missing out on a lot. It’s the single most hard-hitting, reliable source of breaking news and analysis about the bleeding edge of politics — the stories you wish weren’t true and might even prefer to hide from. But reality is coming for all of us.

And there’s a humdinger of a story over at Revolver now, which asks an ugly but necessary question: Are Democrats and their allies trying to terrorize the rest of us into learned helplessness by getting our leaders murdered?

That might sound crazy to you, depending on how much attention you’ve been paying. But in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s murder and the little victory dances thousands of professors, teachers, nurses, soldiers, even Secret Service agents have been doing over it, it’s a question that must be both asked and answered. Here are some highlights from Revolver’s story, which you should absolutely go read in full. In the unsigned piece, the writer opines that

in the wake of relentless left-wing violence, including the brutal assassination of Charlie Kirk, you would think Democrats might stop with the deadly dog whistles and incitement.

But no…

Instead, it’s gotten worse. It’s escalating.

Who’s the next with a target on his back? White House aide Stephen Miller. Who’s painting it? California Governor Gavin Newsom. In multiple social media posts, Newsom has straight up labeled the patriotic, principled Jewish conservative a “fascist.”

To the marijuana-addled, hormone-dosed, perpetually enraged foot soldiers of the Left, being a “fascist” (or “Nazi,” or “transphobe”) makes you a legitimate target for murder. Revolver continues:

Gavin Newsom himself sent out a dog whistle to his unhinged, radicalized supporters that ICE agents are the “enemy” right before a left-wing extremist tried killing them from a rooftop in Dallas, Texas.

[F]or someone already unhinged, that label becomes their permission slip to justify any violence. Anybody who kills a fascist is a hero, right? That is exactly the danger this kind of rhetoric creates. Make Trump and his supporters look like Hitler, so killing them is the “right thing” to do.

This meme sums up the Dems’ dark plan perfectly:

As Laura Loomer documents, the Left’s targeting of Miller isn’t theoretical or performative. It’s all too real:

Double down on your prayers for the safety of decent, courageous Americans, and especially Stephen Miller.

Is This Harvard Professor Training Future Shooters for the Left?

War Room cohost Natalie Winters has turned up another recruiter for the ranks of political terrorists … teaching at Harvard University, funded by taxpayer money. Winters writes at her Substack about

Erica Chenoweth, a Harvard professor who identifies as nonbinary and uses “they/them” pronouns…. Chenoweth has built a career researching how youth and LGBTQ+ activists can be mobilized in protest movements, focusing less on morality or safety and more on which tactics are “effective.”

Chenoweth leads Harvard’s Nonviolent Action Lab.

This USAID-funded project is hardwired into the Democrat party apparatus. They partnered with Rep. Pramila Jayapal to run a series of “Resistance Labs” designed to train far-left activists for confrontation and disruption.

Jayapal herself told activists she wanted them to be “strike ready,”even suggesting violence may be “coming.” She further promised to share the trainings with the rest of her Democrat congressional colleagues….

Despite the “nonviolent” branding, Chenoweth’s work focuses heavily on terrorism, violent protest, and the conditions under which they succeed.

A small selection of publications reveal this darker, underlying theme:

What’s Inside the New Trump Anti-Terror Plan?

Since Democrat governors and mayors are declaring their “terrortories” exempt from federal immigration and antiterrorism laws, President Donald Trump will have to act alone, wielding the same executive authority that Abraham Lincoln once did to rein in rebellion. Last week Trump issued a presidential memorandum that could prove pivotal to our country’s future, titled “Countering Domestic Terrorism and Organized Political Violence.” From the document:

Heinous assassinations and other acts of political violence in the United States have dramatically increased in recent years. Even in the aftermath of the horrifying assassination of Charlie Kirk, some individuals who adhered to the alleged shooter’s ideology embraced and cheered this evil murder while actively encouraging more political violence.

This was preceded by the 2024 assassination of a senior healthcare executive and the 2022 assassination attempt against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Two separate assassination attempts against my own life in less than 3 months took place during the 2024 Presidential election cycle.

Riots in Los Angeles and Portland reflect a more than 1,000 percent increase in attacks on U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers since January 21, 2025, compared to the same period last year. Just yesterday, a shooting targeting an ICE facility in Dallas resulted in multiple casualties. Separate anti-police and “criminal justice” riots have left many people dead and injured and inflicted over $2 billion in property damage nationwide.

This political violence is not a series of isolated incidents and does not emerge organically. Instead, it is a culmination of sophisticated, organized campaigns of targeted intimidation, radicalization, threats, and violence designed to silence opposing speech, limit political activity, change or direct policy outcomes, and prevent the functioning of a democratic society. A new law enforcement strategy that investigates all participants in these criminal and terroristic conspiracies — including the organized structures, networks, entities, organizations, funding sources, and predicate actions behind them — is required.

The document points to Gavin Newsom’s tactic of painting targets on his political enemies’ backs:

These campaigns often begin by isolating and dehumanizing specific targets to justify murder or other violent action against them. They do so through a variety of fora, including anonymous chat forums, in-person meetings, social media, and even educational institutions. These campaigns then escalate to organized doxing, where the private or identifying information of their targets (such as home addresses, phone numbers, or other personal information) is exposed to the public with the explicit intent of encouraging others to harass, intimidate, or violently assault them.

As in the case of several ICE agents in Los Angeles being doxed, the goal of these campaigns can be to obstruct the operations of the Federal Government as well as aid and abet criminal activity the Federal Government is lawfully pursuing. These campaigns are coordinated and perpetrated by actors who have developed a comprehensive strategy to achieve specific policy goals through radicalization and violent intimidation….

Common threads animating this violent conduct include anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, and anti-Christianity; support for the overthrow of the United States Government; extremism on migration, race, and gender; and hostility towards those who hold traditional American views on family, religion, and morality.

Go read the whole thing. The president’s team knows what time it is, and it’s trying to keep the clock from striking midnight in America.
