Trump Admin is Investigating Joe Biden’s Bogus Prosecution of Pro-Life Americans

Top officials with the administration of President Donald Trump are investigating the bogus prosecution of dozens of pro-life advocates for peacefully protesting abortion during the Biden years.

The Trump Justice Department is preparing to release a report concluding that the Biden administration politically targeted pro-life Americans because of their religious beliefs when it prosecuted them under the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act.

The nearly 60-page draft report, expected to be released as early as next week, justifies President Donald Trump’s pardons of 23 pro-life Americans convicted during the Biden administration of blockading abortion clinics. It argues the convictions were unjustly motivated by targeting people “with traditional Christian views.”

“Upon assuming office, the Biden DOJ shattered the public’s trust by weaponizing the FACE Act to advance a pro-abortion agenda, and DOJ’s Civil Rights Division was at the forefront of this weaponization,” the draft states.

The draft report criticizes the Biden DOJ for charging more than 45 pro-life defendants in more than 20 cases under the FACE Act — a significant increase compared to prior administrations — while prosecuting only five people for damaging pro-life crisis pregnancy centers and none for damages against churches.

The report comes months after Trump pardoned the 23 pro-life Americans on January 23, 2025.

Trump called the action a reversal of “cruel travesties of justice” and “lawfare” aimed especially at “elderly people.”

“This is a great honor to sign this,” Trump said at the signing.

The pro-life advocates, whom the draft report characterizes as “nonviolent, pro-life demonstrators, including a Catholic priest and elderly people” and “peaceful, pro-life demonstrators,” had been convicted under the 1994 FACE Act for nonviolent protests at abortion facilities.

Thomas More Society attorneys, who submitted pardon requests for 21 of the advocates, described them as “heroic peaceful pro-lifers unjustly imprisoned by Biden’s Justice Department.”

“Today, freedom rings in our great nation. The heroic peaceful pro-lifers unjustly imprisoned by Biden’s Justice Department will now be freed and able to return home to their families, eat a family meal, and enjoy the freedom that should have never been taken from them in the first place,” said Steve Crampton, Thomas More Society senior counsel.

“Today is a new day for the pardoned pro-life advocates who have suffered FBI raids, federal prosecutions, and severe punishment for peacefully and courageously witnessing for life. We thank President Trump for keeping his promise to these pro-life mothers, fathers, grandparents, pastors, and priests,” added Peter Breen, Thomas More Society executive vice president and head of litigation.
