Mini-rant: I have seen one to many articles in the last few days attempting to judge President Trump’s “performance” in this meeting or that with some foreign leader. It is obvious from the tone and language of the piece that it was written by some person that thinks such things are somehow a a matter of style and taste, you know, like deciding which brand of ice cream has the best vanilla. They approach their role as if they are an “influencer” – not a reporter or even an opinion writer.
By definition such a person is young, as no one over the age of thirty knows how to write or sound that way. The Constitution is straightforward, one must be at least thirty-five to qualify to be President of the United States. So who are these people and where do they get off thinking they have sufficient knowledge, understanding or experience to judge something as critical as negotiating an end to international hostilities?
Alright, end of rant before it gets out of hand.
