HOUSTON, TX — Local newlyweds Brandon and Amelia Stockwell reported having the time of their lives during a romantic two-week honeymoon spent entirely in the TSA security line at Houston Hobby.
Highlights of the trip included a spontaneous pat-down, the playful unpacking and repacking of electronics, and what Amelia described as “an unforgettable bonding experience” when Brandon was flagged for “suspicious levels of sweating.”
“It’s just been magical,” said Amelia, inching forward half a step. “There are such amazing views of Terminal A, and the food from Einstein Bagels has been delightful. Brandon has been so sweet to hold our place in line while I go to the bathroom. We’ve really laid a good foundation here for our marriage.”
Brandon agreed. “Some couples waste money on beaches and candlelit dinners. Meanwhile, we’ve shared intimate moments like reorganizing our carry-ons and making prolonged eye contact while a TSA agent slowly inspects my belt,” said Brandon. “I wouldn’t trade these two weeks for anything.”
At publishing time, the Stockwells had bid good-bye to their TSA “line mates” the Johnsons, who had come to the TSA security screening for their 25th anniversary.
