She Awoke to Find Her Boyfriend Forcing Abortion Drugs Down Her Throat

A survivor of a chilling assault using mail-order abortion drugs is speaking out publicly under her full name, for the first time.

Jona Affholder, of Ohio, awoke one night to find the man she was dating at the time – Hassan Abbas, a medical resident who has since lost his license – looming over her, pinning her down and forcing abortion drugs into her mouth.

Abbas confessed to fraudulently using his estranged wife’s identity to purchase the drugs, to which he should not have had access were it not for Biden-era federal rules allowing mail-order mifepristone, on the internet.

The post highlights a critical social issue related to abortion policies during the Biden administration, with timestamps and engagement metrics visible.

Affholder has shown great courage and determination to pursue justice in the wake of an unimaginable crime that sent her to the emergency room bleeding severely and took the life of her unborn child.

From The Daily Wire:

I work in healthcare. I’ve spent my adult life caring for vulnerable people. I never imagined I would become one myself.

I also never imagined the man I trusted, who took an oath to “Do No Harm,” would harm my life forever.

At first, my ex-boyfriend seemed normal, calm, and successful. We bonded over our jobs in healthcare. We laughed a lot and built what I believed was a genuine relationship.

But the person I thought I knew didn’t exist.

A few months into our relationship, I found out I was pregnant. The moment I told him, everything changed.

recent analysis of online abortion drug sellers by Charlotte Lozier Institute found illegal, dangerous practices are the norm, not the exception. More than 80% will ship abortion drugs beyond the FDA gestational age limit, while eight online-only groups ship to pro-life states in violation of their laws. Many websites selling abortion drugs do not require ID.

If you, or someone you know, need help reversing the effects of the abortion drug mifepristone, it may not be too late. Visit abortionpillreversal.com or call the 24-hour helpline at 1-877-558-0333.*

Abbas is scheduled for sentencing later this month. If nothing changes, reports suggest he may receive little to no jail time. It would not be the first time shocking leniency occurred: In Texas, the now-ex-husband who attempted to poison Catherine Herring seven times initially received a 180-day sentence, which only increased after probation violations.

Jona and a growing number of survivors around the country harmed by mail-order abortion drugs have SBA Pro-Life America’s full support. In the Wild-West environment of unregulated drugs that abortion activists deliberately planned to undermine pro-life laws after Dobbs, there are undoubtedly more survivors out there than those whose names we know. We stand with them and hope they also will be inspired to come forward, using their voices to help stop future acts of violence against women and children.
