Sneako Declares ‘Islam Will Be in Every Household,’ Invokes Zohran Mamdani During Viral NYC Livestream

A livestreamer with more than 1 million followers ignited a social media firestorm Friday night after declaring that Islam would one day take over New York City while invoking New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani during a World Cup celebration.

Kick streamer Sneako — whose real name is Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy — made the remarks while broadcasting live from the streets of Manhattan as thousands of Egyptian soccer fans celebrated Egypt’s World Cup victory over Australia Friday night.

Egyptian flags filled the streets as revelers beat drums, blasted horns and chanted in celebration.

“Allahu Akbar!” Sneako shouted into the camera.

Mockingly wiping tears from his eyes, he continued: “Oh no, oh no. F— you!”

“This is the Islamic Republic of New York-istan,” he declared. “Islam will be in every household. Inshallah the whole world will be Muslim.”

He then pointed toward the celebrating crowd.

“Welcome to Mamdani’s New York. You see this city? You see how it looks? Inshallah, your city looks just like this too.”

“Inshallah” is Arabic for “God willing,” while “Allahu Akbar” translates to “God is great.”

The clip quickly exploded across X, racking up millions of views and triggering outrage from prominent conservative figures.

One of the sharpest responses came from former Navy SEAL Rob O’Neill, who says he fired the shots that killed Osama bin Laden during the 2011 raid on the al Qaeda leader’s compound.

“These guys sound WAY different when you wake them up at 2am,” O’Neill wrote.

The backlash intensified when conspiracy theorist Alex Jones demanded that Sneako be removed from the country.

“Deport him NOW!!!” Jones wrote beneath the viral clip.

His post caught the attention of X owner Elon Musk, who responded with a brief reply: “Agreed.”

Sneako has become one of the internet’s most polarizing online personalities. He first gained prominence on YouTube before moving to Kick after repeated platform bans. Over the years, he has shifted dramatically in both politics and religion.

Earlier in his career, Sneako publicly backed Sen. Bernie Sanders during the 2016 Democratic presidential primary before later embracing a mix of populist and far-right causes. He reportedly converted to Islam in 2023 and has since made the faith a central part of his online persona.
