Former NBA center Enes Kanter Freedom just dropped a bombshell on the women’s league, declaring for the 2027 WNBA Draft in a slick video that’s pure gold.
Sitting at a desk in an “invest in women, pay women, hire women” T-shirt, the 6-foot-11 Freedom signed the official paperwork Monday morning and shared a few of his NBA basketball highlights.

“Rules are rules!” EKF said in the X post.
The #LetFreedomPlay clip is already lighting up X, with the message loud and clear: if the league’s eligibility rules are that flexible, a guy who once dominated the NBA paint figures he’s got every right to throw his name in the hat.
