Six small spheres. One military sensor. Estimated speed: 480 miles per hour.
And the Pentagon still doesn’t know what they were.
A newly declassified U.S. Central Command report describes a cluster of six unidentified objects moving over the Middle East in 2025, repeatedly changing direction as an American military platform tracked them with an infrared sensor.

The one-minute video was released Friday as part of the latest government dump of unidentified anomalous phenomena — better known as UAPs or UFOs.
The accompanying mission report described the objects as “six small spherical objects grouped together,” appearing “agile” and “frequently changing direction.” The observer estimated their speed at 480 mph.
The Pentagon has not determined that the objects were extraterrestrial — or even confirmed the reporter’s speed estimate as fact.
The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, or AARO, labels the case unresolved because officials do not currently have enough information to determine exactly what was captured.
