Scarborough Slams El-Sayed for Claiming Piker Just a ‘California Streamer’ [WATCH]

Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed appeared on MS NOW’s “Morning Joe” Friday as he continues to face questions about his ties to left-wing Twitch streamer Hasan Piker.

El-Sayed campaigned with Piker during the primary, including campus rallies and a Detroit event the night before his narrow win over Rep. Haley Stevens.

Since then, the candidate has said he disagrees with Piker on “many, many things,” has no plans to campaign with him in the general election against Republican Mike Rogers, and has repeatedly referred to him as a “Twitch streamer in California.”

Joe Scarborough wasn’t having that, asking El-Sayed: “Don’t you think it’s disingenuous to call him a California streamer when you know the guy, you campaigned with the guy, he was a big part of your campaign?”
