An abortion business in Greensboro, North Carolina will permanently close in two weeks.
As LifeNews has reported, the abortion center that was once the busiest in the Triad region will shut down next month. The “A Woman’s Choice” abortion business announced on its website that it stopped killing babies on March 31. The facility will remain open for follow-up until its full closure on April 30.
This is a development pro-life advocates are hailing as a victory for unborn children.

Shawn Carney, the head of 40 Days for Life, is celebrating the news. And he talked about how local pro-life advocates learned of the development:
40 Days for Life volunteers in Greensboro, North Carolina, suspected something was up.
Throughout the recently completed 40 Days for Life campaign, the facility had been closed on days when it is normally open.
Vigil participants’ suspicions were confirmed, as the abortion business announced it has killed its last baby…and will shut down completely by the end of the month!
It’s the 185th abortion facility closed following YOUR prayers at a 40 Days for Life vigil! The expected flood of abortion-bound women from pro-life states that border North Carolina never materialized.
The abortion center directed abortion customers to its Danville, Virginia location, “just 40 min away,” which kills babies in abortions up to 20 weeks with same-day appointments available. It also referred customers to locations in Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina, and Jacksonville, Florida.
No reason for the closure was given in the abortion company’s announcement.
North Carolina’s current pro-life law, enacted in 2023, prohibits most abortions after 12 weeks of pregnancy with limited exceptions for rape, incest or to save the life of the mother. The law has steadily reduced the number of abortions in the state.
