A congressional hearing boiled over into a heated shouting match Thursday as DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin and Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.) sparred over immigration enforcement, child separation and the handling of migrant children under the Trump and Biden administrations.
The fireworks erupted after DeLauro criticized the Trump Administration’s immigration policies and cited child separation figures during questioning.
Mullin fired back, accusing the veteran Democrat of selectively criticizing Republicans while ignoring problems that occurred during President Joe Biden’s administration.
