Elon Musk Highlights Democrats’ Dramatic Shift on Border Security

Elon Musk says Democrats did not merely move left on immigration. They sprinted.

The tech billionaire argued in a circulating interview clip that border positions once publicly embraced by Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi would now be branded “far-right” by large parts of their own party.

“You support the far-right. In fact, very fringe parties in some countries,” the interviewer said.

“No, I support the normal people,” Musk jumped in. “What you call the far-right — falsely.”

“You could go back ten or fifteen years, and these policies were completely normal,” Musk added, saying he loves it when people take old Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton speeches, quote them to the “lunatic left,” and claim they are from President Trump.

“Here are the principles and tell me which of these sound terrible,” Musk continued. “We should have secure borders. We should have safe cities. We should have sensible spending. Which of those are far-right fringe?”
