Hillary Clinton had three words for President Donald Trump’s latest move: “It’s Lake Ontario.”
Conservatives had a few more for her.
Clinton jumped into the uproar Thursday after Trump ordered the Department of the Interior to refer to Lake Ontario as “Lake America” amid his escalating trade fight with Canada.

Her post quickly blew past 3 million views, and reopened one of the internet’s favorite political wounds.
“It’s not President Hillary Clinton…and never will be,” conservative commentator CJ Pearson wrote.
Sen. Marsha Blackburn was even shorter: “And you’ll never be President.”
The Republican National Committee joined in with: “It’s President Donald J. Trump.”
Michael Knowles added: “Democrats preferring Canada to America is the least surprising thing I’ve seen all day.”

Clinton’s X account does not allow public replies, but that did little to stop the pile-on elsewhere.
Trump’s rename came as tensions with Ottawa intensified over trade, with the president accusing Canada of unfair practices.
