ICE Sets Record With 50,925 Arrests in August

Trump’s deportation push is accelerating.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers made 50,925 arrests in August, the highest monthly total in agency history and the third straight record-breaking month, according to Department of Homeland Security data shared with The Daily Wire.

ICE arrested 50,208 people in July and roughly 43,000 in June.

Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin said officers are “working around the clock,” while ICE sources told The Daily Wire personnel are now operating seven days a week with 70% of staff required to report each day.

“For the third straight month, ICE set a new record for the highest number of illegal aliens arrested in a single month, nearly 51,000,” Mullin said.

He also repeated the administration’s warning to illegal immigrants still in the country:

“If you are in the country illegally, LEAVE NOW. If not, we will find you, arrest you, and deport you.”

DHS is also offering a $3,000 stipend and a free flight home to migrants who choose to self-deport.

Three months.

Three records.

And ICE is still ramping up.
