IDF Dog Finds Dozens of Rockets in Gaza Tunnel

Go get ’em, boy.

An Israeli military dog went underground in southern Gaza and found what the IDF says Hamas and other terrorist groups were not supposed to have: a tunnel packed with rockets.

The Israel Defense Forces announced Wednesday that troops discovered and dismantled an underground route containing dozens of rockets belonging to terrorist organizations operating in the Gaza Strip.

Body-camera footage released by the IDF shows a canine from the elite Oketz Unit moving through the tunnel before reaching what appears to be a large weapons cache.

The discovery was made by troops from the Paratroopers Brigade operating under the Gaza Division, according to the Israeli military.

The soldiers “located an underground route containing dozens of rockets belonging to terrorist organizations operating in the Gaza Strip,” the IDF said.

Israeli forces then demolished the route.

“The route was dismantled in cooperation with the engineering forces of the Gaza Division and the Yahalom Unit,” the IDF said.
