Karoline Leavitt Holds the White House Press Briefing

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt will face reporters Thursday as President Trump turns up the heat on Iran and its Houthi proxies.

Trump has delivered a series of increasingly forceful warnings to Tehran as attacks intensify nearly five months into the war. The president has also threatened major military punishment if the Iran-backed Houthis continue targeting ships.

Leavitt is expected to field questions about the administration’s strategy, American military casualties and the new U.S.-Saudi civil nuclear framework, which Trump has tied to Riyadh joining the Abraham Accords.

The briefing is scheduled for 11 a.m. EDT.
