The lone juror in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial has been taken to an undisclosed location to protect him from threats from feminists and other who support the mom who killed her three children.
Michael Desronvil was the holdout juror in the trial, that ultimately ended in a mistrial instead of a not guilty verdict thanks to his courage to not go along with the feminists on the jury who admittedly wanted to send a message by exonerating Clancy.
Several other members of the jury have since come forward with accusations that Desronvil had admitted to having doubt, which he has fully denied. And Desronvil and his family have endured doxxing and harassment since his name was first publicly announced this week.
Desronvil’s attorney, Edward Andrew Paltzik, confirmed he was representing the juror, and says he is a conservative Christian and “American hero.” In a lengthy post on social media bout Desronvile, he said Desronvil is “safe and sound at an undisclosed secure location.”
“This American Hero and Champion of Justice loves the United States of America as the greatest country in the world; cherishes our sacred Constitution as the pinnacle of human liberty; and supports our amazing leader, President Donald J. Trump, as a fellow defender of common-sense, liberty, and sanity,” Paltzik said. “Rest assured that the evil people who have so viciously attacked this American Hero and Champion of Justice will be held accountable to the maximum extent of the law and beyond.”

“In the meantime, though, he has persevered and remains utterly unbroken thanks to his devout Catholic Faith,” the social media entry continued. “As a devoted father and man of God, he will not be defeated or shattered by the wicked who wish harm upon him. He is presently safe and sound at an undisclosed secure location in a rural area of Northern New England.”\
In his own interview this week, Desronvil feted claims he had reasonable doubt about Clancy’s guilty mind.
“As I tried to explain different possible theories during deliberation, I kept getting cut off as if I had doubts based on the evidence present,” the statement said.
Desronvil, 48, of Bridgewater, spoke with Ray Marcel of Fugitive TV after Judge William Sullivan declared a mistrial Sept. 4.
Clancy faces three counts of murder in the strangling deaths of Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, at their Duxbury home on Jan. 24, 2023. She then slashed her wrists and jumped from a second-story window, leaving her paralyzed.
Prosecutors say she killed the children deliberately. The defense argued postpartum depression triggered auditory hallucinations.
Marcel told NewsNation host Chris Cuomo that Desronvil “felt that she was sane when she did it. And that’s exactly what he told me.”
Marcel said the juror told him from day one “that he always felt that she was guilty, and he never displayed or said anything about reasonable doubt.”
That account directly contradicts other members of the jury who have already admitted they had a feminist agenda for voting not guilty.
Foreman Roni Carlson told NBC 10 Boston that Desronvil had reasonable doubt but refused to explain why, and that he failed to apply the court’s instructions on reasonable doubt. Carlson sent a note to the judge about those concerns. Other jurors said he ignored their views.
Desronvil acknowledged to Marcel that deliberations grew heated from the beginning.
The panel of nine women and three men deliberated more than 38 hours before reporting it could not reach a unanimous verdict. Notes to the court indicated an 11-1 split after the female jurors convinced another juror to not support a guilty verdict.
According to Marcel, Desronvil said the room was already tilted toward acquittal before the evidence had been fully weighed.
“He said that from day one, he said eight of them were going for Lindsay Clancy not guilty. That was on day one. Eight were going not guilty. Two were for guilty. And two didn’t know. They didn’t make up their mind,” Marcel recounted. “He said to him those eight felt like they were activists. … Every day they would vote. … The eight that felt that Lindsay was not guilty were trying to convince the other four, ‘Hey, Lindsay is not guilty.’”
Desronvil called those eight jurors “activists” and said they wanted a not-guilty result from the start. He said he and one other juror voted guilty, but the second juror “caved in at the last moment.”
He told Marcel he concluded Clancy was guilty based on the evidence, was not insane at the time, and knew what she was doing.
For those who believe the law must answer for the taking of a child’s life, the description is stark: a majority of the jury, in the holdout’s telling, was already pushing to clear a mother charged in the killings of three children on the first day of deliberations. Cora, Dawson, and Callan would have received no verdict of guilt had that bloc prevailed.
Desronvil has not appeared on camera. Marcel described him as well-spoken, kind, and Catholic. Desronvil said he believes he is being targeted because he is a Black Republican with conservative values who served with many Democratic voters.
His name spread online after the mistrial. He said he has been doxxed, that his life has been threatened, and that people have stalked his house.
He also addressed attacks on his background.
“I did not lie on the questionnaire,” he told Fugitive TV, saying he disclosed a past arrest when selected. A 2021 charge that he assaulted his then-wife was later dismissed. He said he has not been convicted in connection with those events and that some claims circulating about him were incomplete, partly true, or false.
Clancy remains charged. Prosecutors have not announced whether they will try the case again. A hearing is scheduled for Sept. 29.
