Lucky Hockey Fan Catches Foul Tooth

ANAHEIM, CA — During Thursday night’s hockey game between the San Jose Sharks and Anaheim Ducks, one lucky fan reportedly created a lifelong memory when he caught a foul tooth.

“It looks like that tooth is going south for the winter!” Ducks radio broadcaster Steve Carroll said during his play-by-play. “What a catch by that fan!”

The tooth was reportedly hit out of the mouth of Sharks center Macklin Celeberini by Ducks forward Jeffrey Viel in what he claimed was an accident.

“I didn’t mean to swing directly at his face with the full force of my stick,” Viel said. “Honest mistake.”

Celeberini’s lower molar flew approximately 450 ft. before landing in the lap of excited fan Ethan Willborn.

“Oh, gross! It’s a tooth! Ahhhh!” the lucky fan reportedly cried out during the exciting viral moment.

Foul teeth are not so rare in the NHL, but one getting sufficient air to fly into the crowd is. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Viel now reportedly holds the record for the furthest hit foul tooth in hockey history.

At publishing time, for horribly disfiguring another player’s face, Jeffrey Viel spent three minutes in the penalty box.

Steve and Timpani’s continued adjustment to all things Texas hits a speed bump when Timpani’s sister, Brittuni, arrives.
