Mamdani Booed at Staten Island Pro-Police Event

Commie Marxist Mayor Mamdani delivered a speech lasting less than one minute Tuesday night after attendees at an NYPD community celebration greeted him with loud jeers.

Mamdani appeared at the 43rd Patrol Borough’s National Night Out Against Crime event on the Midland Beach boardwalk, where approximately 3,500 residents and families had gathered, according to the Staten Island Advance.

The mayor smiled as he approached the podium, but social media videos showed the crowd’s cold reception growing louder as he prepared to speak.

Attendees booed, shouted him down, and called for his exit.

Mamdani, ordinarily comfortable delivering lengthy public remarks, rapidly shortened his performance.

He wished Staten Islanders a “Happy Night Out Against Crime” before being moved away from the microphone while maintaining a broad smile.

The entire address was over in less than a minute.

Videos from the event showed some residents giving Mamdani thumbs-down gestures and refusing to engage as he was escorted from the stage.

The mayor later stopped to pose for pictures with several attendees, according to the Staten Island Advance, but the brief photo opportunity did little to erase the humiliating public response.

Mamdani’s appearance was particularly awkward because National Night Out Against Crime is designed to strengthen the relationship between police officers and the communities they protect.

The NYPD and city officials held more than 70 events across the five boroughs Tuesday as part of what the department describes as a “community-building campaign” promoting police partnerships and safer neighborhoods.

Staten Island’s celebration was supposed to honor that mission.

Instead, the mayor’s arrival turned it into a referendum on City Hall.
