Massachusetts Bill Would Expand Abortions Up to Birth

A critical decision is happening now at the Massachusetts State House.

The House Committee on Ways and Means is considering H.2370, “An Act prioritizing patient access to care,” and members of the committee are being asked whether they support advancing this bill.

According to sources inside the State House, the committee is preparing to move the bill forward. We need your help to make sure legislators hear from citizens before this happens.

H.2370 would eliminate Massachusetts’ current 24-week limit on abortion and allow abortions later in pregnancy based on the undefined standard of a physician’s “professional judgment.”

This bill would:

Remove the 24-week limit on abortion, allowing procedures later in pregnancy.

Replace clear legal safeguards with vague standards based on subjective “professional judgment.”

Eliminate meaningful limitations and accountability for late-term abortions.

Expand abortion access at a stage when unborn children are capable of feeling pain and surviving outside the womb.
