Mom Enjoys 30-Minute Respite Between Completing Laundry And Needing To Do More Laundry

SALT LAKE CITY, UT — Local mom Rachel Thompson reportedly enjoyed a brief half-hour break this week in between finishing all the laundry and having to do more laundry.

Thompson could be seen sipping a cup of coffee Tuesday afternoon, enjoying a 30-minute hiatus between folding the last batch of clean clothes and her children dirtying every single article of clothing they own.

“Ah, this is nice,” said Thompson, savoring the moment. “The sweet lull between the laundry storms. I can hear them, all over the house, making more laundry. Rolling about in the mud, jumping into ponds. The time runneth short.”

Thompson could be heard sighing deeply before heading back into the laundry room.

“That was a nice break,” she said. “I wonder when I’ll get another one.” Thompson was then reportedly buried by an avalanche of dirty clothes upon opening the laundry room door.

At publishing time, Thompson had been able to sneak a five-minute break between finishing washing dishes and beginning to cook the next meal.
