N.J. Governor Admits 6,600 Non-citizens Registered to Vote; 400 Cast Ballots

Far-left New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill has confessed that her state registered almost 7,000 non-citizens to vote between June 2023 and June 2024. And six percent of them voted.

The computer glitch registered the non-citizens three years before the radical Democrat took office.

Sherrill also took the opportunity to claim that President Trump, who delivered a national address on the subject of election fraud last week, has “weaponized” the issue. Trump, she averred, has “zero credibility” to discuss the subject.

The Registrations

Sherrill announced today that she learned about the glitch about last week.

“A serious software error in New Jersey’s Motor Vehicle System led to the error,” she said.

“These individuals answered ‘no’ when asked on a keypad whether they were a U.S. citizen when applying for drivers’ licenses and identification cards, but through no fault of their own, the system registered them anyway,” she continued:   

This happened under the previous administration and, upon learning this information, I immediately ordered my chief counsel to launch an investigation to get to the bottom of what occurred. I also ordered the removal of any residents from our voter rolls who were erroneously added between June 2023 and June 2024. The new MVC Administrator that I appointed has begun the process of replacing the vendor responsible for administering the system.  

Four hundred voted, she continued, and were “registered as Democrats, Republicans and Unaffiliated voters and were scattered across the state.”

The New Jersey Globe website reported that the “vendor, IDEMIA, is a large digital security and biometric identification company that operates TSA PreCheck enrollment services and provides identification technology to government agencies.”

The website also reported that officials have purged the 400. Unclear is which elections the 400 voted in and whether those illegal votes altered any outcomes. 

The website also fingered what it claimed is the employee responsible for the “blunder.”

“Substantial responsibility for the extraordinary blunder falls on Latrecia Littles-Floyd, who served as acting MVC chief administrator during the period when the faulty registrations occurred,” the website continued:

Gov. Phil Murphy appointed Littles-Floyd after Sue Fulton left the agency to take a position in the Biden administration.

Littles-Floyd also played a major role in the disenfranchisement of multiple U.S. citizens who were temporarily removed from the voter rolls due to a separate MVC error. She consistently resisted efforts to correct that problem.

It remains unclear whether Littles-Floyd or senior officials in the Murphy administration knew about the software error.

Trump Speech

Sherrill’s announcement comes days after President Trump addressed the nation about election fraud. Some of Trump’s central claims involved China and that almost 300,000 non-citizens were registered to vote in 2024.

China “carried out what is believed to be the largest compromise of election data in history, resulting in China’s illicit acquisition of 220 million US voter files,” Trump claimed:

That information includes names, addresses, phone numbers, political party preferences and other sensitive data that would be needed to register to vote and engage in other nefarious activities, which is exactly what was happening. This data loss presents an unprecedented election security nightmare. The intelligence even shows that China assigned a data exploitation unit specifically to this new project.…

Raw intelligence obtained by the FBI in 2020, yet buried by rogue bureaucrats, stated that China’s activities even included an attempt to manufacture illegal ballots for Joe Biden. Documents show that during this period, dozens of significant CIA and NSA reports about China’s election targeting were kept out of the presidential briefing.

And “Finally, to reveal just how vulnerable our elections continue to be, we are releasing the results of a stunning investigation by the Department of Homeland Security,” Trump said:

According to the DHS review, state voter rolls and public records, they identified approximately 278,000 non-citizens who are registered to vote in federal elections.

Sherrill pooh-poohed Trump’s claims.

“Donald Trump has zero credibility on the issue of election integrity,” she said, noting that “for more than ten years, he has worked to undermine Americans’ faith in our elections by spreading lies about legitimate election results, attempting to overturn a free and fair election, encouraging an attack on our Capitol when he couldn’t accept the will of the voters, and defunding election security at the federal level.”

Speaking at a news conference about the state’s contaminated voter roll, Sherrill claimed Trump “has done more to undermine free elections in this country than certainly anyone in my lifetime, including [Russian President] Vladimir Putin.”

A former Navy helicopter pilot, Sherrill represented New Jersey 11 in the U.S. Congress from 2019 through 2025, then was elected governor of New Jersey.
