Pro-Life Group Endorses Ohio Senator Jon Husted

National Right to Life today endorsed Senator Jon Husted (R-Ohio) for election to the U.S. Senate, praising his steadfast commitment to protecting innocent human life and advancing compassionate pro-life policies.

“National Right to Life is proud to endorse Senator Jon Husted,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life. “Throughout his years of public service, Senator Husted has demonstrated a clear and consistent commitment to protecting unborn children and supporting their mothers. Ohioans can trust him to stand for life in the U.S. Senate.”

Husted has served as Ohio’s U.S. senator since January 2025, when he was appointed to fill the Senate vacancy created by the resignation of Vice President J.D. Vance. Since his appointment to the U.S. Senate, he has maintained a 100% voting record with National Right to Life.

“Senator Husted understands that every human life has value, regardless of age, ability, or circumstance,” Tobias continued. “His leadership will be vital as Congress considers policies affecting unborn children, their mothers, the elderly, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable members of the human family.”

Following the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, Congress continues to play an important role in debates involving federal abortion policy, taxpayer funding of abortion, and protections for vulnerable human life.

“Ohio voters face an important choice in this election,” Tobias said. “We urge voters in Ohio to support Jon Husted and help elect a senator who will defend life in Washington.”
