Shame on Olivia Rodrigo for Funding Baby Killing With Her Concerts

Olivia Rodrigo just sold out 86 arena shows in minutes, and she’s about to fill another one with the same trick she’s pulled before.

Her brand new music festival, Daisy Chain Fields, comes wrapped in an all-women lineup and a name that sounds like it belongs on a greeting card, and it’s being sold to a fanbase that packed 1.4 million seats on her last tour alone as a celebration of women and girls.

But look at where the money actually goes . . . to abortionists.

Planned Parenthood is a named beneficiary of Daisy Chain Fields. So is the Center for Reproductive Rights. Miss Rodrigo isn’t shy about why.

Just last week, she sat down with a senior attorney from the Center for Reproductive Rights and posted the conversation to Instagram – accusing pro-life laws of putting women “in the ICU” and calling pro-life advocates hypocrites for daring to call themselves “pro-life” at all.

A pop star with a stadium full of teenage girls is handing the Abortion Lobby a bigger microphone and a bigger check.

This isn’t the first time. Miss Rodrigo has handed out Plan B pills at her own concerts. She raised more than $2 million for pro-abortion organizations on her last world tour.

Planned Parenthood was so grateful, that they gave her an award for it.

On Saturday, August 29^th, our students are going into the lion’s den.

We’ll be peacefully sharing the truth about abortion outside Daisy Chain Fields music festival in Irvine, California, in the middle of a crowd that’s been told for months that Planned Parenthood is a hero and that pro-lifers like you and me are the enemy.

We expect to be screamed at. We expect to be cursed at, spit on, and called every name in the book.

Past protests like this have turned physical, and I won’t pretend this one couldn’t either.

I could tell our team to sit this one out.

But I’m not going to because this is EXACTLY the audience you and I MUST reach if we ever expect abortion to be abolished in America.

Chemical abortion pills – the drugs Planned Parenthood ships by mail with barely a phone screening – cause dangerous side effects for more than 1 in 10 women who take them.

That’s a rate 22 times higher than what the FDA reports to the public!

Nearly 3 in 10 women who take these pills report an adverse event. More than 4 in 10 need follow-up medical care they weren’t warned about.

Emergency room visits tied to these pills have jumped 507% since 2017.

That’s the “reproductive health” Miss Rodrigo is fundraising for.

Of course, you and I both understand the ultimate cost here. Planned Parenthood aborts 1,190 preborn little boys and girls every single day.

Less than a month of Planned Parenthood’s “work” killing babies could fill one of Rodrigo’s concert arenas like the Capital One Arena or TD Garden.

On Saturday, August 29^th – the same day as our National Pro-Life Generation Sidewalk Day – our team will be on the ground in Irvine, California, outside the Daisy Chain Fields music festival, making sure every fan walking in knows exactly whose bottom line their ticket is padding.

This is why we do what we do on college campuses every single week.

We show up where young women already are, before Planned Parenthood can fully sink their teeth into them.

A concert crowd in Irvine isn’t so different from a quad at a state university. It’s just louder, and this time, it could be hostile from the moment we arrive.

But I’m not willing to concede a single arena full of young women to the Abortion Lobby without a fight.

Not when we know what’s waiting for them if they buy into Planned Parenthood’s lies – an innocent preborn baby killed, and a lifetime of pain and regret for the mother.
