White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt joyfully announced the birth of her daughter Viviana, describing the newborn as “perfect and healthy.”

Viviana, affectionately nicknamed “Vivi,” was born on May 1.

Leavitt shared the happy news on social media Thursday, posting a photo of herself cradling the new arrival.

“She is perfect and healthy, and her big brother is joyfully adjusting to life with his new baby sister. We are enjoying every moment in our blissful newborn bubble,” Leavitt wrote.

The baby is the second child for Leavitt and her husband, Nicholas Riccio.

Their son, Nicholas — nicknamed “Niko” — was born in July 2024.

Leavitt is currently on maternity leave and is expected to return to the White House briefing room later this year.
