Woman Defends Killing Her Baby in Abortion So She Could Go on Vacation

A British woman is defending killing her baby in an abortion, in part because her family wanted to take its first vacation.

A 28-year-old mother of two has publicly defended her decision to abort her unborn baby, saying she is happy she did so because her family would not have to “suffer.”

Leah Allington’s decision to end her baby’s life in abortion also allowed her family of 4 to move into a larger home, she claims.

Allington, from Bedfordshire, learned she was pregnant with her third child in July 2024. She and her “partner” concluded they could not happily welcome another child while living in a two-bedroom apartment, where they slept in the living room so their daughters (then aged three and nine) could have their own rooms. They also cited the cost-of-living crisis and the state of the world.

Allington soon began to experience the typical symptoms of being pregnancy but described them as “almost like a sign that I was making the right decision, my body was simply rejecting it, essentially.”

She contacted her local NHS and got the dangerous abortion pill that has killed millions of babies and injured hundreds of thousands of women.

An ultrasound was done of the baby but she never saw it before deciding to end the life of her little boy or girl.

Allington said: “My first thought [after seeing positive pregnancy test] was, I know I can’t keep it, and I was upset. Then I started throwing up, it was scary, it was out of nowhere as well. I think it’s almost like a sign that I was making the right decision, my body was simply rejecting it, essentially.”

She added: “I think something that people don’t talk about when they have an abortion is, that you’re allowed to be sad. Nobody wants to have an abortion. I was devastated and upset, it’s not a nice process to go through. But I do not regret it and I never will. I’m happy I had an abortion and I’m happy my family don’t have to suffer. If I didn’t have the abortion, we wouldn’t have end up where we are now.”

Allington listed specific improvements she links to the abortion: “We’re in a three-bed house now, its got a garden. We just booked our first family holiday, a caravan holiday, and we wouldn’t have been able to do that at all. I now have a part-time job in the evening, that wouldn’t have been a thing. We’re in a much better position and situation for not having a third child.”

The mother apparently couldn’t see that millions of families still have these things and make adjustments after having an additional child, who brings love and joy into a household.

Allington said her sister, her partner’s mother told her: “you’ve made the right decision” and that they were “happy that we were mature enough to realize that.”

Maturing would have been loving her baby, not killing her baby.
