Bessent Says Iranian Airlines Will Be Shut Down Worldwide Sept. 23

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent just put Iran’s entire airline fleet on notice: starting Wednesday, they’re done flying. Any airport that fuels them, services them, or even sells them a ticket gets “knocked out of the dollar system.”

“On September 23rd, ALL the Iranian airlines will be shut down around the world,” Bessent told CNBC.

No exceptions.

The move is the latest strike in his “economic D-Day” campaign to starve the regime of cash, banks, and even the Chinese-linked cash houses that have been keeping it alive.

Bessent’s message was blunt: we know who they are, they know who they are, and the hammer is coming down. The mullahs’ planes are about to become very expensive paperweights.
