Billie Eilish Introduces New Fragrance Socialism’ On Sale Now For $72,000

U.S. — Singer-songwriter Billie Eilish unveiled a brand-new perfume on Friday called “Socialism,” which will retail for just $72,000.

Eilish, a staunch opponent of capitalism, sought to create a fragrance that, like its namesake, would create a wide chasm between the general populace and the ruling elite.

“‘Socialism’ smells like death, which is a thing I like,” Eilish said of the cadaverous-scented fragrance. “So I decided to dump a bunch of chemicals into a vat and stir it around until it smelled how I imagine socialism would smell, which is bad.”

“It smells like the way I see the world,” she said. “Which is why I never smile.”

The expensive perfume is priced at a premium, designed to build as much capital as possible to fund Eilishland, a floating island fortress in international waters where Eilish can rule her own socialist utopia with an iron fist.

Early sales of Socialism were reportedly scant, however, as many of Eilish’s diehard fans remained unemployed and destitute, unable to afford even an ounce of the exotic fragrance.

Senator Bernie Sanders said of the new perfume, “Finally, I will be able to love the way my wife smells! It’s just terrific, I tell you. Terrific.”

Eilish expressed hope that demand for Socialism would soon outperform bread lines in Cuba.

At publishing time, Billie Eilish blamed poor sales of the perfume on capitalism.
