Iran Foils New Bombing Attack By Disguising Itself With A Giant ‘Q’

IRAN — U.S. Central Command attempted to launch another wave of strikes on Iran today, but it was called off last minute due to an inability to locate Iran.

“I thought I was flying right over Iran, ready to bomb them a new one,” said bomber pilot Craig Gallagher, “but then I looked down and saw the name of the country. There was the I and the R and the A as expected, but the last one was a Q. And I was like, ‘Uh-oh! Wrong country!'”

Though most countries in the Middle East are used to being bombed all the time, the American military decided bombing Iraq — with whom we’re at peace — would be a bit of an incident, so they called off the attack. It was only then that they realized that the Q did not look like the rest of the letters but was in fact a disguise Iran adopted to look like Iraq.

“It’s a dirty trick they played,” explained President Trump. “I’m pretty sure you can’t do that. It’s a war crime. What if someone was attacking us and we made our letters… um… USB? We wouldn’t do that. It’s cowardly.”

Iran, though, claims it knows nothing about the big Q covering its N. “Maybe it was being shipped to Qatar but got delivered to the wrong place,” said a snickering Iranian official.
